General Terms & Conditions
Access to and use of “mcrel.thinkific.com” and its online courses and materials (“the Service”) is provided by McREL International (“we,” “us,” or “our”) on the following Terms and Conditions. By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which take effect on your first use of the Service. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Service.
McREL reserves the right to make change to these Terms and Conditions from time to time and so you should check these Terms and Conditions regularly. Your continued use of the Service will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended Terms and Conditions.
1. Use of the Service
- You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service or any part of it for commercial purposes.
2. Registration
- In order to participate in and contribute to McREL’s online courses you will be required to register with mcrel.thinkific.com. Any personal information supplied as part of this registration process and/or any other interaction with mcrel.thinkific.com will be collected, stored and used in accordance with McREL’s Privacy Policy.
- All user accounts must be registered with a valid email address that you access regularly so that course administration emails can be sent to you. Accounts registered with someone else's email address, or with temporary email addresses may be closed without notice. We may require users to re-validate their account if we believe they have been using an invalid email address.
- If we have reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the website, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.
3. Payment and Delivery
- The Service will be made available to you once your payment has been authorized.
- Your credit/debit card details are not handled by McREL. All payment and all credit card handling is through the third party, PayPal Inc. We do not store any credit card details. Authority for payment must be given at the time of placing your order.
- Payment may also be made by purchase order placed with McREL. Purchase orders may be sent to McREL at [email protected].
- After you make your purchase, a confirmation email will be sent to you acknowledging payment and successful enrollment in the course. This email will include information needed to log into the site and access the course content.
4. Availability of the Service
- Although we aim to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that the services available at mcrel.thinkific.com will meet all of your requirements. We cannot guarantee that the Service will be fault-free. If a fault occurs with the Service you should report it to [email protected] and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.
- Your access to the Service may be occasionally restricted to allow for updates, maintenance, or the introduction of new content. We will attempt to restore the Service as soon as we reasonably can.
- McREL continually seeks to improve the Services, and we reserve the right to make changes to any part of any course provided that it does not materially reduce its content or functionality.
5. Intellectual Property
- McREL retains all copyright and intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) for all content located on or available through the Service.
- You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or broadcast our content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter, or create a derivative work from any mcrel.thinkific.com content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of mcrel.thinkific.com content requires the prior written permission of McREL.
6. Posting of Content
- Some courses in the Service allow you to post content to the mcrel.thinkific.com website including posting completed assignments and taking part in discussion boards.
- All content which you provide or upload to our website shall be subject to the relevant provisions of our General Terms & Conditions.
- You must only use the Service in a way that does not infringe or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of mcrel.thinkific.com. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Service.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellation and refunds are available only within 2 days of starting a course. If you need to request a refund, please contact [email protected].
- We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
- McREL shall not be responsible for any breach of these Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
